Difficult to find but well worth a visit, stunning location, excellent staff and food. Maybe a little overpriced, apart from that wonderful.

The beauty and the tranquility made this Pousada a haven of peace for anyone wishing for this type of break. The icing on the cake was of course the first class service provided by the staff and the luxury of the accommodation and facilities. All this within an affordable budget. Thank you very much to everyone at the Santa Clara and we will definately return.

Liked the magnificent view of the lake and the large bedroom and bathroom. Very good price-quality relation in our case (promo offer).
Apparently and incomprehensible the hotel is runned by a junior staff, and that is my explanation for some faults: no "normal" salted butter for 2 days in a row, and, out of date margarine, also for 2 days in a row, and after our notice on the arrival dinner. Consequently, the breakfast price is to high for the offer...
